Britney Spears has reassured fans of her well-being following internet speculation about her safety.

The Princess of Pop took to social media to clarify reports that she got into a physical altercation with her rumored boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz at the Chateau Marmont on Thursday.

Several outlets reported Thursday that paramedics were called to the Chateau Marmont after an alleged fight between the pop star and her beau.

Sources claimed that the two got into a fight in their hotel room and when paramedics came, witnesses said she hurt her leg.

The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that paramedics were dispatched after a call was received at 12:42 a.m. claiming that a woman had been injured at the hotel, according to NBC News

Paparazzi photos captured Spears — draped in a blanket and holding tight to a white pillow — alongside Soliz outside of the hotel.

In an Instagram statement, Spears noted the news was fake and the paramedics “showed up at my door illegally” at the hotel after she twisted her ankle.

“Just to let people know … the news is fake !!!” she wrote. “I Would like respect at this time for people to understand I am getting stronger everyday!!! Truth sucks so can someone teach me how to lie?”

“Goddeses out there, I’m reaching my higher power and furthermore, I hope you guys are too!” she wrote, before joking, “I need a new toothbrush right not. PS … I need an espresso.”

"I also twisted my ankle last night and paramedics showed up at my door illegally. They never came in my room but I felt [completely] harassed,” she stated, before adding she was going to “Move to Boston”.

In a second post, Spears shared a video showing her swollen ankle and then accused her mom, Lynne Spears, of being involved in the situation, writing in the caption, “I haven’t talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out.”

“I was set up just like she did way back when !!! I wish I had grandparents !!! I can’t stand her !!! I honestly don’t care I will say it 👍🏻🤷🏼‍♀️ !!!," she continued.

It’s unclear if the pop star was blaming her mom for calling the paramedics or leaking the news to the press.

She also gave a shot out to her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, who served as her attorney during her conservatorship termination case in 2021. “Psss this man is wonderful !!!” Spears wrote in her caption. “He’s like a father to me and he got me through last night !!! I adore you and admire you mister Mathew !!!”.

The Chateau Marmont incident came just hours after Spears reached a divorce settlement with her ex-husband, Sam Asghari.

Asghari — who dated the singer for seven years before they tied the knot in June 2022 — filed to divorce Spears in August 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences”.

At the time, it was reported that Spears had an “ironclad” prenuptial agreement with Asghari, one that his lawyer Brandon Cohen of BAC Talent said he would not contest.

“There are many claims that Sam is challenging the prenup and threatening to exploit his ex-wife with videos,” he told Rolling Stone. “However, all these claims are false, as no negative intention has ever been directed towards her and never will be. Sam has always and will always support her.”
